The other day my daughter came home from a sleep over, and she had ripped a hole in her jeans. She was then down to three pairs of jeans that she could wear. Holes should not be allowed in jeans when kids are between sizes going through a growth spurt. You know what I mean? So tonight I took a scrap of fabric I had and made a patch on her knee and then I carried the same fabric over to the coin pocket so it looked more fashionable. These days buying jeans with holes already in them are in, and I was set on making these wearable for a tad longer. Enclosed are the pictures of my evening of hand stitching.. let me know what you think. She was happy with the results!
