See what had happened was…. life just got busy and I got a little neglectful. I apologize for slacking off there for a bit. I don’t think I will ever get to my paper on my “mystery” animal, if I do I will post it and you can be surprised but I am not promising it as I am trying to realistic especially with how things are so busy.
So for the last 6 weeks what have I been up to?
A lot of watching the kids, and working online. I am now up to being able to work up to 30 hours a week. I did post this week’s NYC newsletter. Which now she doesn’t pass out but I actually email to all incoming or residing guest for that week. People really seem to be appreciative.
I attended the Sheep & Wool Festival. We watched 2 sheep get sheared. One manually, and another by machine. When they are done they can take the coats and toss them out and they resemble a bear rug. Kind of interested, I didn’t think it would be like that. My daughter got to hold a couple of angora rabbits while I talked to some people about raising them. I did buy a lot of yarn, and fiber (sheep & alpaca). Also, won a $25 gift certificate to a near by yarn shop. Top it with a Jumbo Corn Dog, and live music, and it was really a great day had by all of us. Here is a pictures of one of the baby Angora Rabbits my daughter is holding.
Mother’s Day! There was church as normal. Then, we stopped at the Future In-Laws and delivered his mom a flower we had picked up. Something new for her garden. Then we went to Hibbachi Buffet & Grill and ate lunch (Rachael my online boss actually paid for lunch – she gave me a $50 bonus that morning for Mother’s Day! Super Sweet & Awesome!) Then we went home. The man gave me a potted flower, which today I just transplanted to a window box. The daughter got me a puzzle, and some circus peanuts (candy) which was super sweet (her dad had taken her to the dollar store when he had her camping last month so she could give me something).
Today was really good. Went to a couple community yard sales. I managed to pick up some collector glasses for real cheap, found a couple books, and bought some yummy bread from a local bakery. Then we did some yard work, I transplanted, and planted a couple things. Made Pulled BBQ Chicken in the Crock Pot today for dinner. Also make some flour-less peanut butter cookies. Managed to put in over 3 hours in online work, and another 3.5 closing tonight at my retail job. Stopped at store on way home, found a couple super buys, and now I am here.
I am looking forward to Church tomorrow and watching the Waltons tomorrow evening. A nice family togetherness day. I think I might sneak across the street to Lowes to get some more flowers for the window boxes.
Well, it is getting late so I am going to head off to bed. I will try to post on a more regular base now.
