I just need to post some ramblings from time to time. A place to jot down thoughts, and words as they come to me. Not on a particular subject, and probably not that important or serious of a post. A daily ramblings of words.
Today is Sunday. I am also ready to head off to church. I attend a small congregation of about 20 people, where I can wear my blue jeans and tee, and sit in a wood pew and my daughter is usually the only child. It’s a nice group of people that make you feel like family, and the Pastor talks directly to you in the middle of his sermon. Every Sunday we leave with a long list of books that we need to read, not mandatory, to delve deeper into God and the truth.
Today after service we are headed to the Maple Sugar Festival. I will try to remember to take some pictures. I am looking forward to a lovely time with fiance, kiddo and me.
Waiting on my nails to dry, a beautiful bay blue color. Like one of those breathtaking clear blue skies that you run across from time to time. After they are dry I can get my socks and shoes on, snatch up my bible, purse, and camera and run out the door, which my fiance will hold for me. He will also open the car door to let me in, and dear daughter. When we get to church he will open my door, and any door I shall come across, a genuine gentleman.
I think I will save my ramblings, and perhaps continue them later, so I don’t have multiple postings a day on just me rambling. It’s 10:37am here now, and we leave soon enough for church so this is me hitting the pause button, so I can get my shoes on my feet.

Church was wonderful. We got to learn about The Gideons and all they do to get the word out to others. There were stories about instances when God showed up in people’s lives. Also, there was a couple that had been out for a little while. They came with their small boy, and their new baby boy. I am a woman with baby fever. Just the thought or mention of a baby gets my blood pumping so today to be able to hold Silas after church was just so wonderful. He is only 2 months old with a mass of beautiful black hair. I look forward to my future and any more children God decides to bless me with.
After church we attended the maple festival, went on a hike, tapped a tree, had a wonderful time, and came home with a 1/2 gallon of maple syrup. On the way home we stopped at one of our local nurseries and I picked up a packet of alfalfa sprouting seeds. My seeds are currently soaking, and in about 6 days I should have some yummy alfalfa to put on my sandwiches.
This evening my fiance came down, and the three of us watched little house together. This is our family ritual on Sunday nights. It was an episode about when Jesse James came to Walnut Grove, very interesting looking back on that time period.
My house has come to peace. The man is upstairs, my daughter is tucked into bed, and I sit here typing away. That moment of quietness when it comes is like a fresh breeze on a hot summer day, it just renews your spirit. I think I will leave you with that thought on this particular post.
